When word got out that Nashville producer, John Capek, was getting together with singer / songwriter, David Sirull of Augusta, Georgia, to put out a brand new cd of original country songs, the musical ringers lined up to get on board.
Capek is known for co-writing Rhythm of My Heart (recorded by Rod Stewart) and taking part in the sale of nearly 100 million other songs that span the last 3 decades.
Sirull is known for his whimsical YouTube hits and numerous performances around the world. The result is a fabulous collection of melodies that may be sung, whistled and hummed for many years to come.
The fiddler (Bruce Watkins) has accompanied the likes of George Jones and Dolly Parton. Viktor Krauss, plays the bass guitar and has done so for Randy Travis and Lyle Lovett, just to name a few. Eddie Bayers keeps the beat as master drummer (as he has for Garth Brooks, Vince Gill and many other country stars.) Sonny Garrish is on the steel guitar, and finally, Tim Buppert, who has provided backup vocals for Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus and countless other country icons is in the mix.
Sirull calls Augusta, Georgia home and says there's no place like it.
He's married and has 3 kids. He loves to camp, ride motorcycles, play golf and fish.
